DAY 1 — PROTECTION, DISCERNMENT & SUCCESSFUL REPLACEMENT OF STAFF

Theme
“Every unauthorized access is closed, every hidden scheme is exposed, and the right person takes the right position.”

Your dream has several elements worth praying over: you were being driven, the windows were opened, children entered unexpectedly, they attempted to take what belonged to you, you were alert enough to defend yourself, while the driver appeared unconcerned, and when he got out, they followed him.

I would not automatically interpret the children as literal demons or assume the dream predicts an event. Instead, we can use the dream as a prompt to pray about boundaries, discernment, people having access to your affairs, protection of your resources, and wisdom concerning leadership and staffing.

HOUR 1 — COVERING, DISCERNMENT & PROTECTION

1. Psalm 91:1–2

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”

Prayer

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I come before You today and place myself, my family, my work, my projects, my resources, my business and everything You have entrusted to me under Your protection.

Lord, I choose to dwell in Your presence. Be my refuge. Be my fortress. Be the One who watches over everything that concerns me.

Father, I bring before You the dream I had. I ask You to give me understanding concerning anything You may want me to learn from it. If the dream reflects areas where I need greater discernment, make me discerning. If it reflects a need for stronger boundaries, show me where those boundaries need to be established.

Lord, I pray concerning the open windows in the dream. Let every unnecessary access point into my life, my projects, my finances, my business, my relationships and my plans be identified and properly secured.

Where I have trusted someone with access, give me wisdom concerning that trust. Where access needs to be reduced, give me courage to make the appropriate decision. Where someone is trustworthy, give me wisdom not to become unnecessarily suspicious.

Father, I refuse to live in fear. I choose discernment instead.

Psalm 121:7–8 — “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

Lord, preserve my going out and my coming in. Preserve my projects. Preserve my reputation. Preserve the resources You have given me.

Let nothing that is not meant to enter my life gain unauthorized access.

In Jesus' name, amen.

Declaration

I declare that God is my refuge and fortress.

I declare that I am not careless; I am discerning.

I declare that God gives me wisdom to recognize what is beneficial and what is harmful.

I declare that every legitimate boundary around my life and work is strengthened.

I declare that what God has entrusted to me is protected.

2. PRAYER AGAINST SABOTAGE & HIDDEN SCHEMES

Isaiah 54:17

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.”

Prayer

Father, I bring the staff situation before You.

You know everything that has happened. You know what I know and what I do not know. You know every conversation, every action, every intention and every decision.

I will not accuse anyone beyond what I know to be true. Instead, I ask You, God of truth, to reveal the truth.

If there is deliberate sabotage, expose it.

If there is negligence, expose it.

If there is dishonesty, expose it.

If there is manipulation, expose it.

If there is incompetence affecting the project, give me wisdom to recognize it.

If I have misunderstood something, correct me.

Father, do not allow my emotions to make decisions that should be made with wisdom.

Luke 12:2–3 — “For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.”

Lord, let whatever needs to come to light come to light.

I pray that hidden matters concerning this project will become clear. Let facts become clear. Let evidence become clear. Let responsibilities become clear.

Give me wisdom to act according to truth rather than anger.

Psalm 37:5 — “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

I commit this entire matter to You.

Take control of what I cannot control.

In Jesus' name, amen.

Declaration

I declare that truth will prevail.

I declare that hidden matters will be brought into the light.

I declare that sabotage will not determine the outcome of my project.

I declare that confusion will not control my decisions.

I declare that God gives me wisdom, evidence, discernment and courage.

3. PRAYER CONCERNING THE DRIVER IN THE DREAM

The driver is particularly important because you were being transported while someone else was responsible for the vehicle and then opened the windows without appearing concerned about what entered.

Proverbs 3:5–6

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Prayer

Father, I surrender the people who have influence over the direction of my projects and affairs.

Where I have placed responsibility into another person's hands, give me wisdom.

Where someone is responsible for protecting something entrusted to them, let them act responsibly.

Where someone is careless, expose the carelessness.

Where someone is trustworthy, strengthen the relationship.

Where someone should no longer have responsibility, give me wisdom and courage to make the necessary change.

Lord, I do not want to be carried into a place where I have no control over what is happening around me.

Give me appropriate oversight.

Give me accountability systems.

Give me reporting systems.

Give me proper documentation.

Give me competent people.

Give me trustworthy people.

Give me people who will alert me when something is wrong rather than people who ignore problems.

Father, I pray that nobody's negligence will create an unnecessary opening for trouble in my work.

Psalm 32:8 — “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

Lord, guide me.

If I need to change the person driving a particular area of the project, give me the wisdom to recognize it.

If I need to restructure responsibilities, show me.

If I need to replace someone, give me the right timing and the right person.

Let me not keep someone in a position simply because I am afraid of change.

Let me also not remove someone simply because of emotion.

Give me balanced judgment.

In Jesus' name, amen.

Declaration

I declare that God directs my path.

I declare that I will not be controlled by another person's carelessness.

I declare that I have wisdom concerning who receives access and responsibility.

I declare that the people working with me will be people of integrity, competence and accountability.

HOUR 2 — SUCCESSFUL REPLACEMENT & RIGHT PEOPLE

4. PRAYER FOR THE RIGHT STAFF MEMBER

Proverbs 18:16

“A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”

Prayer

Father, concerning the staff position that may require replacement, I ask You to prepare the right person.

Do not merely give me someone who can fill a vacancy.

Give me someone who can carry responsibility.

Give me someone who understands instructions.

Give me someone who communicates.

Give me someone who respects deadlines.

Give me someone who takes ownership.

Give me someone who can identify problems and communicate them early.

Give me someone whose character can support their skills.

Lord, I ask for a person who will add strength to the project rather than create unnecessary pressure.

Proverbs 22:29 — “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”

Father, bring diligent people into my organisation.

Let the next person be diligent.

Let the next person be teachable.

Let the next person be accountable.

Let the next person be honest.

Let the next person understand that employment is a responsibility, not merely a source of income.

5. PRAYER FOR A SMOOTH TRANSITION

Ecclesiastes 3:1

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Father, if this staff member's season in this particular role has come to an end, give me wisdom to recognize it.

Let the transition be orderly.

Let documentation be complete.

Let knowledge be transferred properly.

Let important passwords, files, repositories, documents and project information be properly secured and handed over according to proper procedures.

Let there be no unnecessary disruption.

Let the project continue moving forward.

Father, protect the project during the transition.

Philippians 4:6–7 — “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Lord, keep my heart and mind in peace while I make these decisions.

Don't allow fear to make me retain the wrong person.

Don't allow anger to make me make the wrong decision.

Don't allow pressure to make me compromise.

Give me peace accompanied by wisdom.

In Jesus' name, amen.

6. PRAYER FOR THE PROJECT ITSELF

Psalm 90:17

“And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.”

Father, establish this project.

Establish its finances.

Establish its systems.

Establish its people.

Establish its timelines.

Establish its client relationships.

Establish its deliverables.

Establish its reputation.

Establish the work of my hands.

Where there has been delay, bring progress.

Where there has been confusion, bring clarity.

Where there has been weakness, bring strength.

Where there has been unnecessary conflict, bring wisdom.

Let this project become stronger through every challenge.

Not paranoia.

Wisdom.

Teach me to distinguish between a mistake and deliberate wrongdoing.

Teach me to distinguish between someone who needs training and someone who should be replaced.

Teach me when to speak.

Teach me when to remain silent.

Teach me when to investigate.

Teach me when to delegate.

Teach me when to release someone.

Give me wisdom beyond my experience.

8. PRAYER FOR MY MIND

2 Timothy 1:7

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Father, give me a sound mind.

I refuse to allow this dream to make me afraid of everyone around me.

I refuse to become suspicious of every person.

Instead, I ask for discernment governed by love, wisdom and truth.

Let me make decisions from a place of peace.

Let me not carry this situation throughout my day.

Let me sleep peacefully.

Let me work peacefully.

Let me lead peacefully.

Give me emotional strength to handle difficult people without becoming like them.

In Jesus' name, amen.

Give them understanding.

Give them concentration.

Give them discipline.

Help them study consistently rather than waiting until the last moment.

Help them understand what they read.

Help them remember what they have learned.

Give them confidence without arrogance.

Give them humility to ask for help when they do not understand.

Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Father, strengthen them.

When they encounter difficult subjects, give them perseverance.

When they make mistakes, help them learn rather than become discouraged.

When they become tired, help them rest appropriately and return to their studies.

HOUR 3 — EXAMINATION SUCCESS & THE SYSTEM'S PURPOSE

Proverbs 16:3

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

Father, I commit the entire LAP examination system to You.

Let it become useful to children.

Let parents find it valuable.

Let teachers find it helpful.

Let learners become more confident through proper preparation.

Let the system identify gaps in knowledge so that learners can improve.

Let it be built with integrity.

Let it be reliable.

Let it be secure.

Let it genuinely contribute to better learning.

Psalm 121:8 — “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

Father, preserve my children throughout their examination season.

Give them peace.

Give them discipline.

Give them understanding.

Give them wisdom.

Give them good health.

Give them the ability to demonstrate what they have learned.
